This years already crowned Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has announced he will race in the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday, despite the Brit suffering with a bout of fever.
Hamilton’s team, Mercedes, revealed that the champion had to delay his flight to Sao Paulo until today, following advice from his medical team.
The English-man will only arrive one day late, in what is the penultimate race of this F1 season – with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix finishing off a good year for Hamilton.
In the Mexican Grand Prix last weekend, Hamilton was beaten by team mate and fierce rival Nico Rosberg, which means he will have even more incentive to win in Sao Paulo.
Hamilton won his third F1 title last month in the USA, which led to a bust up with Rosberg.
